Is it so hard for you to have an ounce of fucking compassion? Barrons, on the other hand remains an enigma.

Is it possible that all of the hype surrounding this series and the recent release of Shadowfever has soured my experience? I said this already for Book 1 and I was hoping things would change in Book 2 and was almost optimistic they would, and then we’re back to flatness.

She divides her time between Ohio and Florida and is working on two future projects for Random House Publishing. Barrons is everything I want you’d ever wanted in a man if you liked incredibly strong, frustratingly enigmatic, impossible and dominating men.

As to what Barrons may or may not be: What made it even more fantastic? Asking question after question after question. Karen Marie Moning is a genius.

The constant spewing of metaphors. I find him to be the most interesting character in the whole series. In her fight to stay alive, Mac must find the Sinsar Dubh—a million-year-old book of the blackest magic imaginable, which holds the key to power over both the worlds of the Fae and of Man.

A seelie, unseelie, druid, fae…how old is this guy…is he immortal ……she can feel something in him that is not totally human. I think the constant and sometimes weird metaphors could be cut out. On to Faefever now, in hopes of getting some of those answers and uncovering a few mysteries.

bkoodfever Never forget she has not only lost her sister but every certainty about pretty much everything since she came to Dublin and somehow she hasn’ Second Re-read: So far it’s been exceeding my expectations and I hope it will continue doing so.

I’m beginning to think that no character is exclusively “good” or “bad” – I’m starting to believe that everyone’s motives exist in a shade of grey. She does her best to not let that happen and chooses what she thinks is best, not what the others tell her is. It actually shows how well planned this whole series had been.
