Ever since we’d parked, she’d been trying to show the old man that she could stick a hotdog down her throat without messing up her shiny lipstick. It sure is bleak around Knockemstiff, Ohio but these tales are told with heart, unlike other books in the same vein which seem to want to shock, Pollack wants you to know that this is normal behaviour for these people and not reality as passed through a hall of mirrors knockemstuff to grotesqueness.
While I’m not personally white trash I don’t thinkI have spent quite a bit of time in my past watching them, knockemstifg the same places that they go to, getting called a knockemztiff by them, going to their homes to deliver food and furniture, taking away furniture from them, working with them and still to this day being more afraid of them in a Wal-Mart when I’m home visiting my parents than I ever feel in New York City.
I recommend it anyone who is feeling sorry for themselves.

Donald Ray seems to be working on a much higher, much knockfmstiff level than any other new writer out there.
